You can make lot money turning people's junk cars into someone else's treasures and although it takes time to do this the initial investment isn't overly high. There are quite a few places to buy scrap cars and parts to turn a vehicle into something brand new and there are lots of people who but scrap cars that have been restored. In fact there are tons of car shows where people display and sell their restored jewels for great profit. More and more people are turning to part-time business to supplement their incomes in harsh economic times and one way to this is through restoring cars in your garage at night. You only need to buy one car at a time and then restore it, at which point you sell for profit and move onto the next car. Some cars may take months to restore, where other cars could take only weeks to restore basically the condition you buy the car in will reflect the time, as well as how good your knowledge on restoring cars.

The first thing you need to do when restoring a car is too find the car to restore. One of the best locations to find great cars in bad shape is your local junk yard, you'd be surprised what they have behind their walls and you can find amazing deals. If you can't find something at a local junk yard then you should move your search online where you can find amazing deals on scrap cars in good shape. Many online classified sites and online car auction
sites are filled with great old cars that can be restored for profit.

Once you have the car you need to decide on what needs done to it, usually you would need to take it to the bones and start with removing any rust and holes. After that you should follow a written plan that you have planned out and begin getting the car ready for sale. Like I mentioned before it could take weeks to months to finish restoring a car, depending on your experience and how much you can work on the car.
